  1. What is Double Cut Carbide Burr and Their Types

  2. Double cut carbide burrs are used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, mild steel, and non-metal materials like stone, plastics, hardwood, and ceramic. It has more cutting edges and can remove material faster. Double cut, also called Diamond Cut or Cross Cut (2 flutes cut across each other) and can leave a smoother finish than single cut thanks to producing more minor chips as they cut away the fabric.

  3. Use double-cut for medium-light stock removal, deburring, finishing, and cleaning. • These carbide burr bits for metal are best suited for efficiently removing surface stock and weld splatter, deburring and chamfering applications, alongside medium to light cleaning. • The burrs perform well at higher temperatures and may be used longer than hot-work steel tools.

  4. Uses of Double Cut Carbide Burr • Medium-light removal of material • Deburring • Fine finishing • Cleaning • Smooth finish • Creates small chips
