  1. The leaning tower of pisa! By: Kelsey Manuel., Michelle Main, & YoudinahCanel.

  2. History • When the construction of it started in 1173 the poorly laid foundation and resulted in it tilting. • It was 56.70 miles high up from the ground and the side that’s leaning is 55.86 miles up, its 4.09 miles wide and the top would happen to be 2.08.

  3. It took a while to construct it almost 177 years because it had been performed in three stages. • When it began leaning it was when they built the third floor, because of that it means it would've been doubted from the beginning. • In 1272 construction had started up again trying to stop the tilt.

  4. Timeline • On January 5, 1172 - Donna Berta diBernardo gave money to be used towards the stones • On August 9, 1173 the foundation was laid. • Four centuries later Giorgio Vasari laid foundations of the bell tower , there were a lot of more possible builders. • On December 27, 1233 Benenato oversaw the work of the bell tower. • On February 23, 1260 Guido Speziale was elected to oversee the tower. • On April 12, 1264 Giovanni di Simone and over 20 other workers went to the mountains to close the pisa marble .
