  1. My Honest Experience with a Logistics Company in Dubai When I started sending my products from India to Dubai, I thought it would be pretty straightforward. You pack the goods, book a shipment, and wait for delivery, right? Turns out, it is not that simple. My very first order got stuck at customs for almost two weeks, and I had no clue what to do. I remember sitting with customers waiting for their orders while I scrambled to understand paperwork I had never even heard of. That was my rude introduction to the world of logistics. At first, I jumped between different providers, thinking I just had bad luck. But the truth is, I didn’t know what to look for in a logistics partner. Some quoted cheap rates but added random “handling charges” later. Others

  2. promised fast shipping but never picked up the phone when I needed updates. The most frustrating part was not knowing where my shipment was or why it was delayed. Slowly, I learned a few lessons the hard way. One, always ask about hidden costs before you agree to anything. What looks cheap at first can end up costing more than you expect. Two, keep your paperwork organized. I started keeping scanned copies of every invoice, clearance, and certificate in one shared folder. That saved me when a customs officer asked for a document I would have otherwise lost. After a lot of back-and-forth, I finally found a logistics company in Dubai that actually cared about communication. What made the difference for me was simple: they answered calls, gave updates without me chasing, and explained things in plain language. That kind of clarity is worth more than a flashy website or low price. Looking back, if I could give a few tips to anyone just starting out with exports, they would be: 1. Communication is everything. If your logistics partner doesn’t keep you updated, you’ll be left guessing. 2. Plan for delays. Even with the best providers, things can go wrong. Having a buffer keeps you sane. 3. Learn the basics yourself. You don’t need to be an expert, but knowing how customs or freight forwarding works will save you from being taken advantage of. Today, shipments are not stress-free, but at least I feel more in control. I’ve made peace with the fact that logistics is messy sometimes. But with the right partner, it’s manageable. This worked for me, and maybe it will help you too.
