  2. Background • 역사적으로 중요한 “관문 도시”. • Colombia 는한국보다 10배의 국토를 가졌지만 인구는 오천만. - 85 different ethnic groups, creating a true melting pot of European, indigenous and Afro-Caribbean populations. • 한국 6/25 전쟁때 유일하게남미 국가로서 한국에 해군을 파병함.

  3. 남미 사람들 중에서 제일 따뜻하고 친절함. Spain 으로 부터 1499-1819년도까지 통치를 받아서 아픔 또한 많은 나라임. 일년에 150일 정도의 공휴일이 있음. 장미 수출 (340종)

  4. REALITY • 정부에서 채택한 minimum salary 는 $250. • 마약, 폭력, prostitution, 아버지 없는 무너진 가정들. • 외국 투자가들로 인해 갑작스럽게 올라간 물가. • 극심한 빈부차 (60% extreme poverty).

  6. Cartagena (7/30 – 8/4/11) • 2 가지 사역 • 대학 사역: 분교까지 합하여 Cartagena 에만 13개의 대학이 있음 • (특강, 캠퍼스 전도) • 2. 청소년/ 거리의 아이들 사역 • (우범지역에서)

  7. Bocachica (8/5 - 8/9/11)

  8. Total # of Patients: 122 • Extractions: 95 • Dental Cleanings: 43 • Dental Restorations: 85 • Sealants: 96 • Fluoride Treatment: 99

  9. 만명 정도의 사람들이 살고 있음. • 대부분 Spain 사람들이 Africa 에서 흑인 노예들을 데리고 와서 일을 시킨후 버리고 간 후예들. • 섬에는 일자리가 없어서 $6을 주고 배를 탄후 Cartagena 로 나가서 일을함 • $10-15/day (daily wage)

  11. 선교팀 일정(7/30/11 – 8/10/11) Colombia 에서 준비된 소중한 만남들에 대하여서. 2) 준비된 사역들을 통하여서 하나님의 이름을 알릴수 있기를. 3) 보스톤 한인교회에서 Colombia/Nicaragua 사역을 통하여서 평신도 전문인 선교사들이 나올수 있도록.
