The Big Bang Theory Season 1 Index (2007–2008 ) Season Recap: It starts with two nerdy physicists Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) whose lives revolve around scientific experiments and physics. These socially awkward guys don’t know socializing with people, especially girls. Both lives get changed when a beautiful young actress Penny comes to live in their apartment. Leonard feels attracted to Penny and finally asks her for a date but comes to know that she is already dating someone. Sheldon has the bad habit of being superior and he hurts his boss’s ego and gets fired. Their colleague Raj finally came to know that he can talk to the girls but only after some drinks. Leonard and Sheldon’s lives became a little normal and happening after Penny came to their lives. She made her efforts to keep closer to Leonard and both finally went out for a date at the end of the first season.

Penny and Sheldon’s friendship begins and they start learning new things with each other. Sheldon helps her to learn physics, and she helps him in her baking factory. To impress Penny’s friends, Leonard learns football from Sheldon, who plans revenge against his arch-nemesis Barry Kripke. Penny asks Sheldon to teach her physics so she can understand Leonard’s work. Leonard’s mother comes and gives them a surprise which bothers Leonard and Penny. Will-Wheaton, Sheldon’s arch-enemy, and Leonard come closer with his girlfriend, Bernadette. Leonard broke up with Penny. Sheldon hide from his friends that he had dinner with Penny after her breakup with Leonard.

Penny, Sheldon, Amy, Raj make big decisions in their personal life. Howard treats Bernadette to a surprise for their dating anniversary. Sheldon was shocked to see her mother’s chemistry with different men. Bernadette and Howard host Thanksgiving dinner for their Gang. Howard announced that he is heading back to space.
