Project update • The Sydney Student Project (SSP) is running at maximum velocity as it enters the critical count down to the program’s go live. • A key component of this phase is ramping up user engagement activities across each faculty/PSU and scheduling opportunities for users to: • The technical and support aspects of the program are continuing in readiness for these engagement activities and go live.

Supporting activities Data Update • Each faculty has nominated a ‘data champion’ to ensure the relevant data in FlexSiS will be successfully migrated to Sydney Student. • The recent focus in faculties has been reviewing and confirming the diets to be used in Sydney Student. Over 500 generic diets have been reviewed to date. • The Sydney Student Team have applied the updates to the diets as directed by the faculties so they can be ready for go live. Diets (used by Sydney Student to articulate course resolutions) are used to represent course resolutions to ensure that students make valid Unit of Study selections. • Testing • Added additional testers to the program. This has helped to bring forward the end to end testing by 5 weeks. • Added an additional faculty test cycle. • Introduced an automated testing tool to help complete regression testing from mid January. • Disability testing is scheduled for February. • End to End test cases and User Acceptance Test cases are currently being reviewed for completeness and accuracy. • Transition Planning • R3 transition planning is progressing with the first cut of activities identified. • The first cut of the Transition plan will be available in early February. • Faulty Managers will be engaged in Feb to operationalise transition activities.
