  2. Let’s take an informal poll ● How many people would say that at least 50% of their student population stay long enough to be post tested? ● Out of those who stay that long or longer, how many people would say that they pick mathematics as the PAI? ● Finally, how many use the survey test when post testing?

  3. Word of the day from the math teacher: AWARE Not to be confused with BEWARE!

  4. Always check the CHARTS What Charts?

  11. Analyze whether or not it is better to move up one level or stay in the level where the student pretested. Note: Once a student has posttested in a new level, the student can’t move down a level.

  12. Retest if needed with the next level test. Be sure to change the form when doing this. Unfortunately, if the student is on level A for posttesting, then there must be at least a six month time period before taking the same test. TABE rules, not the state. Remember: never posttest two levels above.

  13. Everybody should have input on which test should be used. It’s important that we maximize our chances for getting an EFL gain in the PAI. As a sidebar, I bet you are happy I didn’t pick the word INCREDIBLE!
