  1. TECNOLGY Technologyis mostelectronics!!

  2. FACTS Electricity travels at the speed of light more than 186,000 miles per second! If you traveled as fast as electricity, (about 300,000 kilometers = 186,411.358 miles per second the speed of light), you could go around the world 8 times in the time it takes to turn on a light switch.

  3. AMAZING ELECTRONIC FACT: If you scuffed your feet long enough without touching anything, you would build up so many electrons that your finger would explode!  But this is nothing to worry about, unless you have carpeting. Electric current is measured in amperes (amps). Electric potential energy is measured in volts. Two positive charges repel each other, as do two negative charges. Opposite charges on the other hand attract each other.

  4. Electric fields work in a similar way to gravity with an important exception being that while gravity always attracts, electric fields can either attract or repulse. Lightning is a discharge of electricity in the atmosphere. Lightning bolts can travel at around 210,000 kph (130,000 mph), while reaching nearly 30,000 °C (54,000 °F) in temperature.

  5. p.d .The first power plant - owned by Thomas Edison - opened in New York City in 1882.
