  2. Jamie’s life was cut short by tragedy, but beyond that tragedy the family and friends of Jamie have found a way to keep his Spirit alive by being of service to the children and teens that would be the age Jamie now.

  5. The friends and family of Jamie have created an opportunity for his spirit and essence to continue through our gifts to non-profit organizations. Jamie’s Joy Mission Statement: Our mission is to honor the life of Jamie Morgan Mychael Bratton-McNeeley by enriching the life of all living beings through supporting activities and organizations that promote joy, love, connection and peace. YOU GIVE TO JAMIE AND HE CONTINUES TO GIVE TO THE WORLD GUIDING PRINCIPALS Joy – promoting Jamie’s contagious child centered joy Love – promoting Jamie’s unconditional love through giving to organizations that open people’s lives through providing greater possibilities from the practical to the spiritual Connection – promoting Jamie’s ability to bring people of diverse backgrounds together in a way that promotes compassion and harmony Peace – promoting Jamie’s sense of spirit and harmony by giving to groups whose mission is to promote peace between individuals and communities without regard to race, ideology or religious affiliation What Would Jamie do? Would Jamie Like It? Jamie’s JoyMemorial FundBecause his work isn’t done and his love still exists

  6. Jamie’s legacy has grown to include Annual “Make A Joyful Noise” Fundraiser Community Service Projects Grief Support & Education Team Jamie Sporting Events Traffic Safety Awareness

  7. Annual Fundraising Event Raising funds and awareness about varying organizations in San Diego and around the world that help our kids and teens become the best they can be!!!!

  8. Community Service Projects • Providing meals, entertainment and other services for the Interfaith Shelter network • Plantings, clean-ups and other beautification projects • Regular participation in Face Lift

  9. Grief Services • Web based grief support information education and avenues for expression. • Book Reviews & offerings of poetry. music and other healing arts • Honoring and Remembering Workshop offered to families, groups, churches and other organizations dealing with loss.

  10. Team Jamie supports other good causes through group participation in the sporting events and promotes healthy connections by hosting fun activities for it’s volunteer

  11. Traffic Safety and Awareness • Co-Host in 2004 Traffic Victims Memorial Fund • Currently seeking to bring the event back to San Diego County by 2015 • Interviews for press, radio and TV regarding traffic safety issues.

  12. Annual Giving Each year Jamie’s Joy focuses on a quality of Jamie’s legacy and finds deserving organizations that imbue that quality through the services they provide. This year we focused on THE REALITY CHANGERS www.RealityChangers.org. Reality Changers began in May 2001 with four 8th grade students near downtown San Diego with the hope of building first generation college students. Starting with just $300 to its name, Reality Changers has now given more scholarship awards to college-bound students than any other single program in San Diego County since 2006 and become California’s leading mentorship organization for scholarships in June 2009.
