Who invented Football? In the mid 1800s, football was invented by Walter C. Camp. He is also a coach and a sports writer.
Walter C. Camp Camp was born in the city of New Britain, Connecticut, the son of Leverett Lee and Ellen Sophia (Cornwell) Camp. He attended Hopkins Grammar School in New Haven, entered Yale College in 1876, and graduated in 1880. At Yale he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
Walter Camp thought about soccer and wanted to change the rules. He thought of putting eleven players on the field to play football.
Football is very interesting. It is interesting because it is the most known sport in all of the United States of America. The biggest football game is the super bowl. People all over America vote for their favorite team in the super bowl. This year, my favorite team, won the super bowl, “The Green Bay Packers.”

How does the Football Works? • The football is a oval shaped ball. In football, the quarter back throws the football to one of his teammates. When one of his teammates catch the ball, they are suppose to try to run to their touchdown and score.
