  3. Kuidas tuhkrut ära tunda? 1. Tuhkrut tunneb ära kõige paremini tema näo järgi. Talle on iseloomulik hele nägu tumeda maskiga. Ülejäänud keha on tuhkrul tumepruun. Kohati paistab alt kollane aluskarv.

  4. Kus tuhkur elab? 2.Eestis esineb tuhkur sagedamini Lõuna- Eestis kui Põhja- ja Lääne-Eestis. Tuhkur elutseb veekogude kalda-aladel, väikestes metsades ja ka inimasulates.

  5. Mida tuhkur sööb? 3. Tuhkur toitub hiirtest, rotitest, kahepaikstest, roomajatest, jne. Seega on tuhkur kasulik, kuna ta hävitab kahjureid.
