  3. Checklist • Validated Study Permit Application • Two (2) Recent Passport Photos • Letter of Acceptance

  4. Conditional Acceptance • Require proof that all conditions for acceptance have been met.

  5. Checklist • Schedule 1 (if applicable) • Additional Family Information Form • Application Processing Fees

  6. Application Processing Fees • AED 450 - If paid in cash in person at the VAC. • CAD 125 – Bank Draft payable to “The Receiver General for Canada” for in-person and courier applications.

  7. Checklist • Study Plan (found in uae.gc.ca) • Passport (copy or original) • Custodianship Forms, if applicable • Proof of Financial Support ** ** Letter of Financial Support

  8. Required Funds All provinces except Quebec: • Tuition plus CAD $10,000 for a 12-month period. Quebec: • Tuition plus CAD $11,000 for a 12-month period. ** Letter of Financial Support

  15. Processing Times Some applications could take longer to process due to mandatory checks.

  16. Working On-campus • You must have a valid study permit; and • You are a full-time student in a public/private post-secondary institution or a Canadian private institution authorized to confer degrees. For more information: www.cic.gc.ca

  17. Working Off-campus • Must have a valid study and work permit. • Must be a full-time student of a participating publicly funded post-secondary educational institution or in an approved program at an eligible privately funded institution. For more information: www.cic.gc.ca

  18. Co-op Programs • Must have a valid study and work permit. • Intended employment must be an essential part of your program of study. • Employment must be part of your academic program, certified by an academic official. • Co-op/internship employment cannot be more than 50% of the total program of study.   19. Post-Grad Work Permit You must have: • A valid study permit • Studied full time in Canada • Completed a program of study that lasted at least 8 months** • Graduated from an eligible institution • Applied within the allowed time period **Conditions apply.
