  1. Start Strong! Stay Strong! 2014StartStrongJan 8th, 9th, & 10th Stay Focused ! Keep Your Mind on the Task at Hand! Do Not Overload Your Schedule! Slow Down and Take Two Minutes to Think About What You Plan To Do! Don’t Feel Like You Need To Rush! Intervene With Others That Feel The Urge To Rush or Take Shortcuts! Each Day Continuously Remind Yourself “Life IS Fragile! Handle With Care!” Remember ... One Site! One Team! ZERO Injuries! Thought of the day: • Wednesday January 8ththru Friday the 10th– • Each morning of this week have operations, maintenance, turnarounds & projects pick 2 jobs for the day that they want extra eyes on. • Get 2-3 volunteers to go out and look at the work (look for hazards but also look for safe work practices being implemented) • The next morning have those volunteers report their findings in the morning meeting and then repeat the process with some others within your organization – pick 2 jobs and then 2-3 other volunteers to go out and review jobs. • Week of January 13th- • Return to normal Facility scheduled activities. Remember the challenge is to Start Strong! & Stay Strong! Be a Leader in Safety everyday!
