  1. COMPANY HISTORY The founder of Ubisoft Yve Guillomet

  2. Ubisoft (formerly Ubi Soft Entertainment) is a French video game development and distribution company created in 1986 by the five Guillemot brothers, originally from Carentoir in Morbihan. The name Ubi comes from the acronym for Union des Bretons Indépendants. Ubisoft is one of the main French players in its field and the world's third largest video game developer (behind Activision and Electronic Arts).

  3. LOCALISATION The group's administrative and international headquarters are located in Montreuil, although Ubisoft Entertainment SA continues to be registered in Rennes and therefore retains its registered office there, located at 107, avenue Henri Fréville,  Ubisoft has three development in France, in Paris, Annecy and Montpellier.  Its biggest development studio is however in Montreal (Quebec, Canada).

  4. UBISOFT’S MASCOT Ubisoft's mascot is Rayman,  a character from the eponymous platform games, created by Michel Ancel, one of Ubisoft's main video game designers, known for being behind the title Beyond Good and Evil, as well as for his collaboration with Peter Jackson on King Kong.

  6. PRODUCT AND  CURRENT ACTIVITIES Video game creator,  Rayman, The Rabbids, Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Just Dance, Tom Clancy

  7. EXAMPLE Ghost Recon - Tom Clancy's  Future Soldier is a tactical shooter developed by Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Red Storm and Ubisoft Romania studios. It was released on May 22, 2012 in North America and May 24, 2012 in Europe. The title is ported to PC by Ubisoft kyiv in June 2012. It is added as a new episode to the GhostRecon series.

  8. TUROVER World number three in video games in 2018, Ubisoft will achieve a turnover of 2 billion euros this year with 14,000 employees. The company announces the creation of 1,000 jobs within three years in France.
