  2. What is a ????? Stikbotsare pose-able sticky bots who will adhere to almost any flat surface thanks to their suction-cup hands and feet (yep, they were born this way!) Their unique design allows Stikbotsto be posed in countless ways – their limbs, torso, and even neck can be positioned at multiple different angles! Stikbots are ridiculously fun and addicting to play with!!! But Stikbots are more than just cute pose-able figures. #stikbot is the first-ever social sharing toy! We have created a free smartphone app available on iTunes and Google Play where #stikbot really shines; kids can pose, film and edit their #stikbotin stop animation quickly and easily. Once filmed, they can upload their video creation from the app to share with their friends with the simple touch of

How the free stikbot app works Stop Animation has always been a popular medium; however, due to the painstakingly difficult process to film, it has been a format generally left to experts or serious enthusiasts. Our free Stikbot app has been optimized to allow for fast, frustration-free stop animation filming. The app is streamlined for shooting in 10 FPS, and has voice command for taking shots by simply saying “shoot”. The in-app editing software allows kids to quickly take their shots, edit them, scroll through and add sounds with our soundboard (or upload their own .wav or .mp3 files) and when finished upload to youtube and/or social media with the click of a button. Stikbotisn’t just a tactile tinker-toy; it is an outlet for kids to play, learn, create and share—all at the same time! This video was made in 15 minutes!

  5. Today’s Social Media Landscape • 2.078 Billion people globally have active social media accounts • Of those, 1.685 Billion people access that social account via mobile device

  6. What teens share on social media • 25% of teens 12-13 and 24% of teens 14-17 share videos of themselves • 85% of teens share about their interests • This is the last reported data from 2013—It has since increased!!

  7. Instagram statistics • Instagram reached 300m active monthly users in December 2014 • 23% of teens consider Instagram as their favorite social network • The global community shares of 70m photos and videos each day

  8. Instagram statistics • Instagram’s popularity surged between the spring and fall 2014 • Facebook usage over the same time period dropped 27% to only 45% • 76% of teens are active users of Instagram.

YouTube statistics • YouTube has more than 1 Billion users • Every day people watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of views • The number of hours people are watching on YouTube each month is up 50% year over year • 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute • Half of YouTube views are on mobile devices

  12. Understanding the almighty #hashtag To understand how kids and teens actually interact on these social media platforms, you must understand the power of #hashtags. Hashtags are a way for users online to tag their photo or video so it is uploaded into a content stream of other pictures and videos which have also been tagged with the same hasgtag. Content can be tagged with multiple different hashtags all at once. These pictures and videos were taken by people all over the world and uploaded with #travel Now their content is shared into the #travel content stream! Globally, when anyone clicks on a hashtag, they will see every picture/video that has ever been posted with that same hashtag… (See example above; #photo has 58,415,521 tags on Instagram!)

  13. Why use these #hashtags? By tagging your content with a #hashtag and adding it to the corresponding content stream, you allow other people to see your content when they browse that #hashtag stream (FREE PUBLICITY!)   ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS KIDS AND TEENS USE SOCIAL MEDIA IS TO MAKE FRIENDS, MEET PEOPLE AND GAIN FOLLOWERS AND “LIKES”. When people enjoy your content, they will “like” it (see picture to the left with 684 likes). Sometimes people will then access your social page (to the left) and browse all your other content; if they like it, they will start to follow you so all content you upload is sent to their feed. This user has 83,600 followers!

Zing will utilize a mutl-platform strategy to introduce kids to #stikbot and lead them to their favorite social media sites (and stikbot.com) to learn more about it. These pieces will include a heavy National cable & Broadcast campaign, online digital marketing, PR outreach & Mainstream media, and throughout an active, living content stream at #stikbot!

Reaching our core demographic, Boys 7-10, available to over 98M households . Reaching kids between 6-14, available to over 89M households The Best late night programming on TV for teens 9-17. Reachs over 98M households. Our TV investment for Fall 2015 will be $2MM to support Stikbot launch. This TV will be focused exclusively on the first 10 weeks of the Fall season from Late August – mid October to the tune of 780 GRP’s in that time frame! We front loaded the TV to lead as many kids as possible to social media sites to open them to the #stikbot content stream. Our TV plan will reach 184.9 million kids ages 6-11, a 75% reach in that target demo. Additionally we will reach 210.5 million teens in the 9-17 age demo.

  17. The #stikbot content stream Cultivating an active, exciting content stream at #stikbotis essential to the successful launch of stikbot. The key to this product is user engagement and sharing; once they see the cool pictures and videos at #stikbotthey will want to join in and share themselves! Because of the streamlined efficiency of the free app, they will be able to purchase the product and begin filming and uploading funny videos, social content, ectwithin 15 minutes! Because the home place to share is #stikbot, kids and teens will naturally want to purchase a stikbot since we have tied in the name of the product to the name of the hashtag “#stikbot” and all the content there is featuring stikbotsin the videos and pictures. They could stop-animate a lego, for example, but their content will look out of place when sharing a lego video to a #stikbotcontent stream. These videos to the right are more examples of content shot in under 15 minutes!

  18. The #stikbot content stream - Videos Zing will upload stikbotvideos every day. Not just funny short animations, but also parodies of music videos, trending pop culture topics, popular celebrity impressions, ect. These will be tagged with other #hashtags, allowing our content to flood over into other #hashtag content streams as well! Additionally, we will actively monitor the #stikbotcontent stream. User-generated content we like we will re-post and “like” on our own stikbot social pages (see to the right and left), encouraging these users to keep posting new content!!

  19. The #stikbot content stream - Pictures In addition to video, we will encourage users to post pictures of their stikbot doing things. Each and every morning we will post a new “where’s stikbot?” picture to the content stream, showing where stikbot is in the world todayand posting a fun/interesting fact about that place. We will encourage users to show us where THEIR stikbot is today! This nurtures that ever-important goal of user interaction and sharing. Also we will post a “stikbot in history” picture each afternoon to show a different historical event stikbot was present at along with a fun/interesting fact about the event!
