  2. Beovu is an injection-only drug produced by Swiss pharmaceutical manufacturer Novartis. The FDA approved the Beovu (brolucizumab dbll) on October 7, 2019.

  3. Beovu injection caused serious complications • Retinal vasculitis • Retinal vascular occlusion • Inflammation of the retina • Vision loss

  4. The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) warned its members about the connection between Beovu and eye inflammation in February 2020

  5. The FDA released updated Beovu warning label information on June 11, 2020 The label indicates the possibility of retinal vasculitis and retinal vascular occlusion after the injection.
