  1. Prenatal Yoga Asanas for the Third Trimester Welcome to the third trimester! You’ve come a long way, gone through many ups and downs, but you’re almost there, it’s almost touchdown. There are many processes your body is going through to prepare itself for your baby and the wait is almost over. To help you make it through this final arc, here are some excellent prenatal yoga for the third trimester. 1.Viparita Karani – Also known as the pose where you put your legs up the wall. In order to execute this you’ll need one or two thickly folded blankets or a firm round bolster This pose is a supported variation of the shoulder-stand Viparita Karani. 2.Trikonasana – This is a great asana to help create more air circulation within the body that help your baby get fresh pumps of oxygen and give your body the extra help it needs to push through. Commonly known as the Triangle Pose this asana helps maintain physical and mental balance which can especially benefit pregnant women who have an altered center of gravity. It also stretches and opens the hips which is a big help during delivery and also reduces back pain and stress. 3.Anjaneyasana – Another great exercise to help create more room for the baby. This is a low- lying lunge, which you can perform easily. Here your back knee should touch the floor or rest on

  2. a cushion as you join your hands and raise them up over the head whilst keeping elbows straight and holding for 6 to 10 seconds before reversing the movement.
