  1. Health Problems Caused From Being Overweight It should hardly come as a surprise that being overweight or obese can lead to a sea of health problems. Being obese affects one both mentally and physically. These days many men and women don’t take care of their health and allow themselves to gain abnormal amounts of weight under the pretext of body positivity. Although that is something each and every one of us needs to incorporate into our lives, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that they’re inviting more health problems for themselves by not taking action about their excessive weight. Let’s take a look some of the most common health problems caused from being overweight. 1.Fatty Liver – The main function of the liver is to remove toxins and process food nutrients that are circulated throughout the body. A fatty liver develops when one consumes excess amounts of food rending the liver “clogged” due to it not being able to break down fat molecules like it normally does. This can lead to diabetes and high triglyceride levels. 2.Sleep Apnea –Sleep Apnea is the phenomenon where a person’s breathing repeatedly starts and stops due to congested blood vessels that become suffocated from excess fat. This affects their ability to concentrate, makes them lethargic and leads to heart problems. 3.Psychological Problems –If the physical problems weren’t enough, being obese can cause bullying, low self-esteem and can lead to emotional eating which is a whole problem in itself
