  1. The Art of Homemade Ghee

  2. Start with unsalted butter and melt it in a saucepan over low heat

  3. Simmer the butter gently until it separates into three layers: foam, liquid, and solids

  4. Skim off the foam and discard it, then carefully pour the clarified liquid into a separate container

  5. Leave the solids behind and let the liquid cool and solidify into creamy, golden ghee

  6. Store the homemade ghee in an airtight container at room temperature for up to several months
