IAT 2025 Expected Cutoff

Indian Institutes for Science Education and Research (IISERs) are among the main institutions of India dedicated to Science Education and Research. From 2024, the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2025) became the only admission exam for admission to the IISERs, eliminating the Kvpy and Jee Advanced channels.

IISER Kolkata:Knownfortheirstrongphysicsandchemistrydepartments,IISERKolkataclosedrank around883by2023.Thus,studentsseekingKolkatashouldconsideratargetscoreofabout130-140to maintainastrongapplication. IISERBhopalandMohali:Withrobustinfrastructureandactiveresearchprojects,thesecampuses arealsohighlycompetitive.In2023,cutoffrankswerearoundthe430-440mark.For2025,students shouldseekscoresbetween120-130. IISERThiruvananthapuram(TVM):FocusedonInterdisciplinarySciences,IISERTVMcutoff in 2023hoveredaroundarankof430.For2025,ascoreofover120+wouldbeadvisableforstudents interested inthis campus.
