  1. Clearing your Mind Regarding the Best MBBS in Abroad Prospect Not getting your desired MBBS seat in India? You’re not alone as more than 10 lakh Indian medical aspirants face the same problem. In fact, this is the reason why more and more of them prefer to go for an MBBS in abroad. Does Russia require NEET for MBBS? One major advantage of pursuing higher medical studies in Russia is that students need not worry about passing multiple entrance exams. The only one they need to worry about is the NEET Exam. This is a compulsory exam in order to be eligible due to its pan-Indian nature. This is perhaps the only exam that can be considered to be a uniform scale to test the medical prowess of Indian students. They are tested on various clinical as well as pre and para-clinical subjects. The universities in Russia use the NEET Exam to judge whether or not Indian students possess the basic knowledge to sustain themselves during university-level education. This is the reason why these universities have NEET cutoffs under their eligibility criteria. In 2021, it was 130 for the general category and 108 for the reserved. So, expect the cutoffs to be around 140-160 in the coming years. How to get a Visa to Study MBBS in Russia? Russia has one of the easiest and smoothest visa processes in the world, primarily because the entire process is carried out online. This is also the reason why the entire process (from application to dispatch) takes only 5-7 business days. For a visa to study MBBS in Russia, one needs - 1.10+2 mark sheets and certificates 2.NEET Scorecard and Admit Card

  2. 3.Recent medical tests (HIV and Covid-19) 4.Passport 5.Passport-size photos 6.Birth Certificate, and any other such documents asked by the university. Students need not submit a Bank Statement unlike in other countries. Is Russia good for Indian students? Everyone is aware of the fact that Russia is the hub of quality and affordable medical education in the world. The fees here start as low as INR 14 Lakh and at max, can go up to INR 25 Lakh. No donations/capitation fee is required! However, Indian students pursuing MBBS in Russia have a distinct set of advantages as mentioned below - •India-Russia relations have been historically peaceful and thus, the chance of racism or discrimination against Indians is literally Zero. •Thanks to the above, all major Russian cities have nicely accepted Indian culture. From praying sites to Indian food and grocers, to even Indian cinema playing in Russian theatres, it’s all there. •The Russian rouble is weaker compared to the Indian Rupee (INR 1 = 1.54 Russian Roubles, as of March 2022) •The highest number of international/foreign enrollees in Russian medical colleges are Indian. This results in many of them having Indian Student Communities, as well as, Indian festival celebrations and authentic Indian cuisine in the canteens and messes. Basically, Indian students will feel at home for these 6 years in Russia. Situation During the Ukraine Russia Conflict

  3. As of March 2022, Russia is the major aggressor in this conflict. The only place where students seem to be affected is in Ukraine. Russian universities, on the other hand, are still as safe as before. If the situation continues, these may become unsafe places but that is a very distant possibility. The war doesn’t seem to leak into Russian territories, which makes anMBBS in Russia far from danger. These were some of the major questions that Indian medical aspirants have in mind before moving to Russia for an MBBS in abroad. Hope this post answers all of it.
