Number of questions in the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section The GRE Quant Section has 40 questions in total, which are divided into 2 sections, each containing 20 questions, and the time for each section will be 35 minutes. In total, the GRE Quantitative sections take 1 hour and 10 minutes. This section includes four main topics: 1. Arithmetic 2. Algebra 3. Geometry 4. Data Analysis

  4. Time Management Tips for GRE Quant Don’t solve the questions sequentially It is not necessary to solve the questions in the same sequence as they appear in the section. If you want to save time, it is always better to solve the easy questions – the ones which you are confident about. Instead of solving such questions when they appear, it is a good technique to solve them at the end.
