An echocardiogram determines the working of the heart. This test is like an exercise test and the echocardiogram is usually taken before and after the exercise. The image is displayed on the screen and recorded on video. The heart specialist will enter the room before you start exercising. When the Cardiologist enters the room, they will perform a quick check-up, review your medical history, and view echo photos.
