Neomycin, Polymyxin, and Hydrocortisone otic solution are used as antibiotics to treat upper ear infection which is caused by bacteria it is also known as swimmer's ear. It helps in reducing ear swelling, redness, unusual tiredness or weakness, trouble breathing, and itching.
How should this medicine be used? This medication comes in a liquid form and is used 3-4 times a day for 10 days, make sure your ear is clean and dry before applying for the medicine and remember to use it around the same time every day
Follow these steps to use the eardrops: • Warm the solution • Shake the bottle well • Clean and dry the affected ear canal. • Lie down and make sure the affected ear is upward. • put the drops into your ear, as prescribed by the doctor • Remain lying down for 5 minutes with the affected ear upward.
