This rocket will launch tomorrow at 5.40 pm in Sriharikota from the second launchpad of Satish Dhawan Space Center. In this launch, the Nisar satellite will be sent into space. NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and ISRO Space Applications Center have jointly developed this satellite. This is the world's first dual-frequency radar satellite. Good for scientists and governments The data and images from NISAR will be freely available to scientists and governments around the world. According to ISRO Chairman Narayanan, the satellite can map the entire Earth in 12 days. The S-band synthetic aperture in NISAR is made with indigenous technology. The L-band
synthetic aperture is designed by NASA. The satellite will also provide information on crop growth and water use.
