AP Metro: Green signal for Vijayawada Metro Follow on WhatsAp Metro Rail Corporation tenders worth Rs. 4150 crore AP Metro: Rajampet: Finally, the green signal has been given to the Vijayawada Metro Rail. AP Metro Corporation has invited international competitive bidding for the construction of Vijayawada Metro and the government will undertake the construction of the metro rail in the EPC model with an estimated cost of Rs 4150 crore . 32 stations will be built. An underground metro station will also be built as part of these works. It will be built as a corridor from Gannavaram to Nehru Bus Station. Metro corridor from Nehru Bus Stand to Penamalur AP Metro: Another corridor will be constructed from Nehru Bus Station to Penamalur. The construction of a double-decker four-lane flyover will also be undertaken as part of the metro rail construction. The AP Metro Rail Corporation has revealed in the tenders that this construction work is being undertaken under the first page. The entire projectTo be completed in 30 monthsThe tender has imposed a condition. The construction of a double- decker four-lane flyover has to be completed within 24 months . To this end, the AP Metro Rail Corporation invited tenders on Monday. The tender process will begin from August 4 .
