The giving behavior of philanthropist, who is looking to promote philanthropic work, or welfare of others by not just donating money, but they volunteer their time for a cause. Contributing to the well-being of others makes you happy, feels satisfied, and finds more meaning in life.

  3. Philanthropy vs. Charity There is a difference between Philanthropy and Charity. A nonprofit or charity organization which executes all the actions towards the welfare of others life and improves their life. Philanthropy is an act that involves funding or donations for charities that fulfill the need of charities to achieve their nonprofit goals. You can also build a good career in philanthropy. There you will get an opportunity to connect with well-known philanthropists and build a good relationship with them. For a career in philanthropy, you will need a few essential skills and abilities like adaptability and perseverance, passion, people skills, and a growth mindset

Since 2006 he has given away $34 billion for health, poverty alleviation. • Bill & Melinda Gates:Bill Gates & his wife Melinda Gates run a private charitable foundation with $46.8 billion in assets. They worked on global poverty, economic development, healthcare and education, and more. • Azim Premji: Azim Premji role model for Indian philanthropy runs Wipro, Azim Premji Foundation, He supports causes of education, poverty alleviation, and recently his foundation committed ₹1,125 crores towards tackling the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. We can put them in a category called Venture Philanthropy who encourages philanthropists to work for nonprofit causes.

If Yes, you should consider the following: • Think about why you want to become a philanthropist and what you are excepting from this career, why you are choosing this?
