Workplace and Professional Practices • There is much speculation of how and when the workforce will continue to evolve. Many workplaces were forced to suddenly switch to at-home work. • Now that employers have seen that the productivity will not decline, they may be more inclined to remain at home. • Companies can eliminate the overhead costs by having employees stay home.
Of course, not all employees can work from home nor does everyone want to. There is an increased demand from workers to stay at home. • It is estimated that roughly 30% of the workers will stay home at least until the end of 2021.
