  3. MEET THE TEAM A very well experienced and diverse team of executive directors are responsible for running the ship here at Under 1 Roof. The experience in this team totals 120 years in sectors including education, entertainment, children activities & large multinational corporations.

  4. Under1RoofKids What’s On PARTY HERE: Under 1 Roof is a great venue for a party. We have lots of rooms, fabulous decor, a great atmosphere, a cafe and even an onsite party supply shop and a catering provider. Creating the perfect celebration can be easy if you piece together a party with our help. UPCOMING EVENTS: From comedy and live music to theatre and science shows; we have a wide variety of events at Under 1 Roof. Our fully air conditioned theatre and main space both host events for the whole family to enjoy. Our Rooms: As a multi-purpose centre, we have space for events, classes, workshops and shows. We can host parties from 5 guests to 200 guests, any class or workshop as well as conferences, meetings and networking.

  5. CLASSES & ACTIVITIES: Enjoy a timetable of wide ranging activities here at Under 1 Roof, from dance to drama, music and language. For school holidays, weekends and special events please go to Upcoming Events Nursery & Creche: Under 1 Roof Nursery is an 84 place nursery for children aged 3 months – 5 years. Full and part time places are available.

  6. Kids Activities Schools Under 1 Roof provides inspirational space, equipment and subject specialists for different types of schools. With a custom made theatre, music studio, art room, gymnasium, sensory room and therapy room we deliver outstanding, curriculum focussed education in the Creative Arts and Physical Education for EYFS, KS1, KS2 and groups with Special Education Needs.

  7. Drama: Drama for KS1 and KS2 At Under 1 Roof, your class has the opportunity to work in a professional studio theatre with our experienced actors and teachers. Tell us the books you are studying in school or about your history, geography or PSHE topics and we’ll tailor make a 1 hour or half day drama workshop to suit your needs and learning.

  8. Music: Music for KS1 and KS2 We have a bespoke Music Room at Under 1 Roof and work in partnership with Stretto Music to deliver specialist music provision for schools. Our Music classes focus on live, creative music making, using a range of different instruments to provide the highest quality music teaching in line with the national curriculum music attainment targets for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Martial Arts: Martial Arts for EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2 Our team of specialist teachers and sportspeople at Under 1 Roof offer high quality, physically demanding martial arts sessions for EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2 based on key developmental skills including:Focus – develops listening, concentration and aim for physical activities

  10. Outreach programme:The Under 1 Roof Outreach Programme If you can’t come to us, we can come to you! We understand that the school day is usually very busy and sometimes arranging a class trip becomes logistically complicated. If you don’t have time to come into Under 1 Roof but would still like to benefit from our service, our outreach team of actors, musicians and sports people are also available to come into your school. This enables us to work with multiple classes or groups of children during a ½ or full day session.

  12. Co-Working Office: A haven for any self employed working parent who needs a space away from home to be able to focus. Desks are available to hire half day or full day with free wifi, tea and coffee and chilled networking space. Price list : 2 hour £6 1/2 day (9-1:30 or 1:30-6) £10 full day (9-6) £18 Pre booking advised, flexible childcare in our quality creche is additional.

  13. Conference room/studio: This quiet room tucked away from the main space is perfect for calmer classes. We currently run baby massage, pilates and yoga in this studio. Its also ideal for meetings and conferences as can seat 20 attendees around our flexible table plans.

  14. Theatre: Under 1 roof is proud to have its own bespoke children’s theatre. Theatre is a wonderful family experience for children of all ages and their grown-ups and we are committed to finding unique and affordable productions to bring to the centre.
