  1. What does the IoT Platform Architecture Include? An internet connection cannot be provided at all places on earth. At the same, it is essential for home owners to watch the temperature in the rooms of their homes when they are outside. If you would like to achieve remote temperature monitoring without internet, you can consider using a smart thermostat in your home, as it will work efficiently without Wi-Fi. While monitoring room temperature using a thermostat for your remote temperature monitoring without internet, you should first understand that the functionality would be restricted to control the basic heating and cooling. Therefore, it may be your personal preference whether to use a thermostat with or without internet connectivity. You are also supposed to be aware of the fact that your endeavor for remote temperature monitoring without internet will prevent you from using the entire sophisticated features of a smart thermostat. However, as a thermostat, the essential function, such as the control of the heating and cooling systems of your home will continue to work normally even when you do not have an internet connection. The core layer of IoT platform architecture is used for OTA services, configuration management, and messaging. An analytical rule engine, which is located at the top of the core layer of the IoT platform, will contain security systems. These systems are designed to detect the anomalies of the user IoT solutions. Although it is flexible, it will operate only at a high cost.
