  1. The Most Remarkable Gifts of the Internet of Things (IoT) There are many interesting applications of the Internet of Things, and they can be easily connected with diverse technologies. From offering accurate and real-time information about the workings of equipment to providing reliable weather forecasts to monitoring the environmental conditions inside industries – there is a lot that IoT can do. Here are some areas in which Internet of Things has already given excellent results: 1. Traffic Monitoring- In big cities, managing traffic during office hours has always been a challenge, but not anymore. IoT has solved this problem as well. Applications such as Google Maps give drivers exact information about the traffic on multiple routes. So, they can take the quickest route and reach their destinations on time. 2. Healthcare- Doctors are grateful to IoT as they can now check the conditions of their patients without being present in the hospital. They are free to roam around and monitor their patient’s health from a remote location. All they need to do is attach Wireless Tags to their patients and they will keep getting frequent updates from time to time on their mobile phones. 3. Smart Farming- The Internet of Things has bettered the lives of farmers. They can reduce the waste of crops and maximize production by tracking soil quality, water content in soil, temperature, intensity of rain, humidity in the air, and so on. 4. Fleet Management- Just like a Server Room Environmental Monitoring system keeps server room equipment in great condition, wireless sensors improve interconnectivity between vehicles and drivers. So, the transportation industry is immensely benefited. Wrapping Up In conclusion, several industries from diverse sectors depend on IoT for improving, simplifying, and upgrading their processes. Over time, IoT will become indispensable to many other sectors as well. The education and the hospitality sectors are two examples of the same.
