Lalbagh Palace This stunning 28-acre royal residence in Indore is one of the top places to visit in the city. It’s a great way to explore the city’s history and get a feel for the luxurious life of the Holkar royals. The architecture is heavily influenced by Europe, so you’ll be amazed by the Italian columns, beautiful chandeliers, Persian carpets, and beautiful stained glass windows. 2.) Khajrana Ganesh Temple This amazing temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh is really well-known by the locals. It was built by the queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar, and it’s said that she built it to keep the idol safe from Aurangzeb’s anger. 3.) Kanch Mandir Kanch mandir is one of the unique Jain temples to add to your bucket list of places to visit in Indore. From the floor to the ceiling, the stairs and the walls, everything is made of sparkling glass. 4.) Rajwada Palace This seven-story old house is a reminder of the grandeur and architecture of the Holkar period. It was built in 1747 by Malhar Rao, the founder of the Holkar Empire.
