  1. Emirates Baggage Policy Overview Emirates offers a comprehensive baggage policy that varies by travel class, fare type, and route. Understanding the difference between weight concept and piece concept routes is essential for a smooth travel experience. Our latest policy updates, effective July 2025, ensure safety and comfort while accommodating travelers' needs.

Checked Baggage Allowance: Weight Concept Routes 1 2 3 Economy Class Business Class First Class 20-35 kg total allowance depending on fare type: 40 kg total allowance 50 kg total allowance Unlimited number of bags within weight limit Unlimited number of bags within weight limit Special: 20 kg Saver: 25 kg No single bag over 32 kg permitted No single bag over 32 kg permitted Flex: 30 kg Flex Plus: 35 kg Weight concept applies to most routes worldwide except Americas and Africa.
