  1. These Are Allure Editors' Favorite New Beauty Products 2022 At Allure, we get inundated with the latest and greatest beauty offerings every day. Most of it is exciting, some of it confusing, and sometimes it gets overwhelming, especially now that our homes have become our offices. Alas, that is the beauty editor's burden to bear. When we really like something, you can trust that our opinion has come from vetting it against everything we've seen before, including our longtime favorites. (We've even written love letters to some of the products we hold most dear.) But we're always open to finding — and sharing — new favorites. It's a big beauty playground out there, so we'll gladly do the dirty work to test everything under the sun. And the crème de la crème often graduate to our Best of Beauty trials. But let's stick to the present for now. Each week, Allureeditors select the new hair, makeup, and skin-care products we're currently obsessing over. Trying to narrow down our favorites to just one or two products can be hard, but we manage. Check out what our editors can't get enough of right now.

  2. Youth To The People Triple Peptide + Cactus Hydrating + Firming Oasis Serum SHOP NOW$54 "I've tried a lot of hyaluronic acid serums in my day and been turned off by many because of their gloopy consistency. Youth To The People Triple Peptide + Cactus Hydrating + Firming Oasis Serum, however, feels featherlight. It sinks into my skin in seconds and gives my cheeks that healthy, plump, why-yes-I-did-just-do-my-skin-care-routine look — yep, you know the one." — Dianna Mazzone, senior beauty editor.

  3. dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream SHOP NOW$26 "The number of styling products I've tried on my wavy-to-curly hair is a number too big to remember, but what I do recall is many of them leave my hair feeling coarse, sticky, and dry. Thankfully, that was not my experience with dae's Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream. In fact, it was love at first application. The creamy consistency absorbed into my post-shower, damp hair within a few minutes of scrunching, leaving nothing but the pleasant, signature scent of sweet prickly pear and dragonfruit. As I write this, I'm swirling my soft, wavy hair through my fingers, appreciating the shiny finish after a tedious wash day, which is all thanks to this leave-in conditioner. I couldn't be more impressed." — Talia Gutierrez, editorial assistant

  4. E.L.F. Cosmetics Face and Body Gems SHOP NOW$3 "When I'm in a rush and need to take my makeup up a notch in 60 seconds flat, I grab some Duo Brush-On Adhesive glue and stick a couple of these on the inner corners of my eyelids. That single minute of glam ends up earning me a handful of compliments wherever I go. While these gems come in other styles, I prefer the pearls: they feel like a more polished — but still playful — variation on a rhinestone." — Taylore Glynn, beauty and wellness editor

  5. Danessa Myricks Beauty Dewy Lip & Cheek Palette SHOP NOW$32 "Anything Danessa Myricks makes, I will happily put on my face and I am currently thrilled about the brand's new Dewy Lip & Cheek Palette. Cream blushes are my favorite, and Myricks delivers four in this set in shades of coral, peach, pink, and mauve. If I'm in a pinch and need a lip color, I can easily dab these onto my lips with my finger or swipe 'em on with a brush. Each color works with my skin tone, the packaging is slim and straightforward, and the buildable formula lasts on my skin for hours. Now that we're back in the office, this has earned a place in the makeup bag I bring to work — it's just that good." — Jihan Forbes, staff editor

  6. L'Occitane Youth Hand Cream Serum-in-Cream SHOP NOW$38 "L'Occitane's shea butter hand creams have been a longtime favorite for me, but this amped-up formula somehow took a perfect product and made it better. You'd think adding the immortelle oil would have made this cream too greasy, I think it's even quicker to absorb than the original." — Kara McGrath, deputy digital director

  7. UN/DN LAQR in Nebula Chrome SHOP NOW$20 "Remember when the oil slick look was the thing in beauty? I've decided it's making a comeback, and this nail polish is leading the charge. Though it looks copper in the bottle, when you apply it over a black base coat it transforms into a very cool metallic that color shifts between green, purple, and blue depending on how the light is hitting it." — Kara McGrath, deputy digital director

  8. Béatus Giverny Fragrance SHOP NOW$180 "I'm a fragrance person — as in, I still wore fragrance while working from home even though I saw literally no one. Scent is important to me. So my friend should consider herself lucky that, one night over some heavily-scented vegan queso, I leaned over and got a whiff of her pulse point. She'd sprayed on this new scent from Dr. Jean Francois Rumigny, a neurobiologist, and Busch Beer heir Billy Busch. But this doesn't smell like a Budweiser — my favorite is Giverny, which is fruity, rosy, and sandalwood-y, light enough for everyday wear but weighty enough that it lasts all day—even when it's in competition with delicious queso." — Alaina Demopoulos, beauty editor

  9. Kinship Self Reflect Rose Probiotic Moisturizing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 SHOP NOW$26 "I've now gone through four bottles of Kinship's sunscreens in the past year. As someone who has been hoarding their empty beauty product bottles (in an effort to recycle them!!), I can prove it. But really, the proof of how great these formulas are is in the pudding — literally. Every Kinship sunscreen, including the Self Reflect Rose Probiotic Moisturizing Sunscreen, is formulated with good-for-your-skin ingredients like glycerin, aloe, and licorice root extract along with zinc oxide to nourish skin as it protects it. I particularly like the rose scent of this one, but really, all of them smell nice. Do yourself a favor and get a bottle of this stuff. Just keep in mind you may end up going through them as fast as I do!" —Sarah Kinonen, associate beauty director

  10. Tend Tonic Mouth Rinse SHOP NOW$28 "I'm totally here for anything that makes my bathroom look less like a pharmacy and more like a spa — and Tend Tonic Mouth Rinse does just that. The chic glass decanter resembles something you'd buy at a high-end decor store, and the rinse within — a result of mixing the brand's birch sugar-spiked concentrate with water — leaves my teeth and gums feeling squeaky- clean." — Dianna Mazzone, senior beauty editor

  11. Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara SHOP NOW$20 Hello, va-va-voom lashes! This (very appropriately named) mascara leaves lashes fluttery, soft, and clump-free. The long-wearing, pitch-black formula spiked with lash-conditioning castor oil doesn't dry too quickly, so you can easily go in with a second layer to up the drama. And the thick brush coats every lash with ease. It's why Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty is one celebrity beauty brand that our editors actually can't get enough of. We love the Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara so much we added it to our AllureBeauty Box lineup. You can score the AllureBeauty Box here for access to even more editor favorites — for just $23.

  12. Allure Beauty Box Reviews “Allure is the best beauty box hands down.”— IRENE “I have tried several different beauty box subscriptions - Birchbox, Starlooks, Boxycharm, Glossy Box - and this one is consistently the best. I would guess that Allure, being, well, Allure, has the best connections in the industry, and the value you receive is unbelievable.” — CATBERT “An incredible value. The little magazine that comes in the box is just great; you get info on what each product is as well as where to find it and price! This is a keeper.”— EMMA
