  2. 1.MATERIALS Buy the necessary tools and materials from local home improvement store. It will make the process much easier.

  3. 2.PREPARATION One should always stain the walls before chink. This process adds a layer of protection from bugs and rot.

  4. 3.BACKER ROD Use water and spatula or a foam brush to apply the chink and ensure that the material adheres.

  5. 4.APPLY PROPERLY Make sure to clean the spills and runs as soon as possible to avoid any difficult clean up later in future.

  6. 5.ACCLIMATE Allow some time for the seal to settle in and apply an additional layer if necessary for better results.
