  2. “The Navya treatment plan provided a lot of support and relief for the patient and our family, as we were very nervous. The team was also very supportive throughout and the process was very easy for us to receive the opinion.'' - Sister-in-law of a 40-year-old woman (photograph on right) with advanced gallbladder cancer. Nainital, Uttrakhand. Case Study A 51 yo man from Mumbai was diagnosed with stomach cancer and completed four cycles of chemotherapy in March 2020. The patient had complaints of severe pain, bloating, vomiting and diarrhea and was admitted in hospital for 11 days at TMH Parel. However, even after discharge the patient had severe abdominal pain and was on medication. Since the patient‘s general condition was poor and chemotherapy was planned, the caregiver was keen on knowing about delayed chemotherapy and symptomatic treatment for the patient. Experts at TMC- Navya reviewed the case and advised to hold chemotherapy for two weeks and reassess after nutritional optimization. Additionally, for symptom relief, an in-person consultation with the nearby local physician was recommended.
