  2. There are three things you need to understand when buying new tires for your car. size, speed and carrying capacity. Making the right choice is very important to ensure optimal performance, safety and energy efficiency. Fortunately, all of this information is easy to find. When considering tire size, there are two simple points you need to know . First, the replacement tires must be the same size, load rating, and speed rating recommended by the vehicle or tire manufacturer. Second, replacement tires must not be smaller or smaller than the original specifications.

It is not recommended to replace a single tire as it may affect the vehicle's suspension or drivetrain and cause excessive tire tread wear. But if a single tire change is unavoidable, pair the spare tire with the tire with the deepest tread depth, then mount both on the rear axle.
