Though at the core, product and brand management have a close connection with a product or service; yet both are different and offer value to customers in their way.<br>While product management offers an inferred extrinsic value for choosing a product and is measurable, brand management usually focuses on communicating intrinsic value i.e. perceived value for choosing a specific product over another. A product cannot be a success if any of the two areas is weak. If you know both, you will certainly have an edge over your peers.
