  1. Things You Need To Know About Squeeze Pages

  2. Presentation Outline POINTS OF DISCUSSION What are squeeze pages? What is the difference between a squeeze page and a landing page? Who Typically Uses Squeeze Pages? Types of squeeze pages Squeeze page as homepage? Conclusion Reference

  3. What are squeeze pages? A squeeze page is a landing page designed solely to persuade a customer to provide contact information — commonly an email address. Whereas other types of landing pages may create a click, a video view, or a certain kind of user interaction, this is not the case with squeeze pages.

  4. What is the difference between a squeeze page and a landing page? A post-click landing page is a standalone website designed to achieve a single conversion goal. Goals can differ with post-click landing page; ebook and whitepaper updates, free evaluation of SaaS registrations, etc. A squeeze page has one objective that is to collect the name and email address of the user. On the Squeeze page, the deal may range from an ebook to a podcast to a white paper, but the "request" is still the same — the name and email address for the user.

  5. Who Typically Uses Squeeze Pages? Squeeze pages can be used in all business niches — from fashion and beauty websites to Saas companies. The pages are not industry-specific because their primary purpose doesn’t relate to one industry but encapsulates all businesses irrespective of size or location.

  6. Types of squeeze pages SHORT SQUEEZE PAGES LONG SQUEEZE PAGES VIDEO SQUEEZE PAGES Short squeeze pages actually do perform better in many cases. You may be tempted to think that “more is better”, but when it comes to squeeze pages, short and sweet is usually the better option. Long squeeze pages are required if you’re trying to get a lot of traffic from Google, especially AdWords. They want to see a long squeeze page with your logo, information about what you’re offering and a lot more. Video squeeze pages are increasingly popular these days, because they can be very effective in many niches, and because they allow you to pack a powerful punch in terms of impact.

  7. Squeeze page as homepage? Once upon a time, it used to be popular to use a squeeze page in place of, or in front of a homepage in an effort to try to persuade visitors to opt-in and join your email list before browsing your website. That’s not a tactic we recommend. Why would that arise? Because you may affect your search engine optimization (SEO) by using a squeeze page for your homepage and decrease your search engine ranking position on search results.

  8. Conclusion Squeeze pages provide an additional opportunity for you to initiate and establish a relationship with your customers. To be successful with your squeeze pages; include the right elements on the page, A/B test the page frequently, and adjust the page’s elements as you see fit to score more conversions over time.
