  1. Vedic Astrology |Third Eyes Astro Vedic Astrology or Jyotish(a sanskrit word) is the traditional system of Hindu Astrology and also known as Hindu Astrology. It is an ancient Indian science which explains the motions of the planets(planetary motions) and their positions with respect to the time and also explains their effects on the human beings and other things on the earth. Hindu Astrology is an English word which was used from since 19th century, whereas Vedic Astrology is a recent word commonly used from since 1970s with self help publications on Ayurveda or Yoga. Vedanga Jyotish is one of the ancient texts about astronomy within the Vedas. The ancient vedic astrology was based on only the movements of planets with respect to the stars but later zodiac signs were included in it. According to the Vedic astrology there are 27 constellations made up for the 12 zodiac signs, 9 planets and 12 houses with each house and planet representing come aspect of Human life span. The visual representation of the zodiac signs and planets is called a horoscope chart. History and Mythology about Vedic Astrology Jyotish is one of the six auxillary principle used to prepare the calenders to determine dates for sacrificial rituals. Astrology is basically based on the Graha which means the planets, Rigveda is the origin of the Hindu Vedic Astrology. The Rigveda mentions an eclipse causing demon Svarbhanu, the word planet(Graha) was Mahabharata(final war of Kuruchetra) and Ramayana. Hindu Astrology is the connection b/w the microcosm and the macrocosms. Hindu astrology mainly consists 12 zodiac symbols. There are some several sub - systems of interpretation and predictions which are not found in the Hellenistic astrology(basically known as Western astrology) like as lunar mansions(Naksatra). It was only after the transmission of Hellenistic astrology that the sequence of the planets in India was fixed in that of the week. Hellenistic astrology or astronomy also transmitted the 12 zodiacal symbols begining with Aries and the 12 astrological places begining with the ascendant. Ancient Hindu literature explains lots of astrological constellations(Nakshatras) and planets. The popular opinion is that our ancient seers used the mythology to solve the complex physical laws which were beyond the comprehension of common peoples. The modern science is not able to understand the mythology and the physical laws behind this ancient method. Our modern understanding of the science of astrology lies with probability and statics. Statistics is the branch of mathematics which deals with the correlation b/w two or more independent events without knowing the actual cause of the correlation. Svarbhanu not applied to until the later rules, on the basis of zodiac signs,

  2. Modern Hindu Astrology Astrology is an important facet of folk belief in the lives of many Hindus. In Hindu culture the names of the newborns are traditionally named on the basis of their Jyotish charts. Many Hindus believes that the planets have an influent throughout the life of an Human being and these influences are the "fruit of Karma" it is also believed that these planets can influence earthy life. Looking for Best Jyotish in Bihar there are many best Hindu astrologers in Bihar and Patna. Difference b/w Vedic astrology and Western Astrology The most easiest difference between the both is that two lies in between the method of measurement of the Zodiac. Vedic astrology basically uses the sidereal zodiac, in which stars are considered as fixed background against the motion of the planets whereas in the western astrology tropical zodiac are used in which motion of the planets is measured against the position of the Sun. The difference becomes noticeable only over time after the course of several centuries, as a result of the precession. Synchronically the both methods(systems) are identical with just a little shift of the origin of the ecliptic longitude by about approx 22 degrees or days. The placement of planets in previous signs in Western charts is about 80% of the time.
