Ferren Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

When you ufb01rst open it, the aromas are very earthy, with some cool climate reduction, often found in Burgundy and Oregon. After several hours in a decanter, the bright berry scents of the Sonoma Coast begin to emerge and combine beautifully with the more savory elements. The palate has an abundance of crunchy, ripe fruit with brilliant acidity and soft tannins. With a ufb01nish that goes on and on, expect this to be at its best between 2021 and 2030. <br>Visit: https://www.thewinestop.com/wines/sonoma-county.html

  2. VINEYARDS: Each of these sonoma wines has been selected in accordance with the Ferren vision: to create profound and age-worthy Pinot noir and Chardonnay from the True Sonoma Coast.

  3. SILVER EAGLE VINEYARD:Silver Eagle Vineyard rests atop Stoetz Ridge, the land mass that divides the remote Sonoma Coast from the Russian River Valley. This vineyard experiences both the cooling ocean breezes of the nearby Pacific, as well as the warmth of the interior valley. LANCEL CREEK VINEYARD: Lancel Creek Vineyard is perched above the tiny hamlet of Occidental on the remote Sonoma Coast. This secluded, two-acre site was prepared, planted, and is still tended by Ulises Valdez. The pale, off-white Goldridge soil provides just enough nutrients and moisture . FREI ROAD VINEYARD: This vineyard has been farmed by the Martinelli family for generations, and continues to be tended by George Martinelli. A mild climate graces this corner of Sonoma, and grapes ripen slowly in the well-draining Goldridge soil.
