  1. What is DevOps? DevOps is a set of software development practices. It combines operations (information technology related) with software development. The word ‘DevOps’ is the combination of two words –‘Dev’ stands for ‘Development’ and ‘Ops’ stands for ‘Operations’. DevOps advocates better communication and collaboration between these two business units. It integrates developers and operations team to improve collaboration and productivity. DevOps delivers updates and features for fulfillment of business objectives. It reduces the systems development life cycle while delivering it. The advancement and tasks groups are brought together by DevOps to form one group through shared learning and procedures. DevOps is not a tool, technology or any innovative framework as such. Rather it is more Philosophical and conceptual. It is based on a culture of cooperation. It is a culture of an organization. In DevOps an application lifecycle management is the center of focus. To implement the DevOps process, there is necessity of various DevOps tools such as Puppet, Selenium, Chef, AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, etc for achievement of automation at various steps/stages. DevOps assists to achieve Continuous - Development, Integration, Testing, Deployment, and Monitoring to deliver software to the customer in a quick manner.
