  2. Unconditional offer + CAS Must receive an unconditional offer from a UKVI‑licensed university; the institution provides a CAS reference number. Eligibility & CAS Requirements Age criteria Applicants aged 16 and above use a Student Visa; those aged 4–17 may require a Child Student Visa. English proficiency Required score in IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or equivalent as specified by the university. TB/ATAS clearance Indian students need a TB test certificate; some postgraduate courses require an ATAS.

  3. Tuition fee Must show funds for full first‑year tuition, as specified on CAS. Living expenses Must hold £1,483/month if studying in London or £1,136/month outside, for up to 9 months. Financial Requirements 28‑day rule Funds must be in your account for at least 28 consecutive days, ending within 31 days of the application date. Low‑risk streamline for India As a low-risk nationality, Indian applicants aren't required to upload financial documents initially, but funds must still be held.

  4. Passport & photographs Valid passport with at least one blank page for biometrics and visa stamp; a biometric photo is required at the VAC. Documentation Checklist CAS and acceptance proof Include the CAS number, along with the university offer letter and tracking paperwork.
