  2. Aluminium Recycling Facts Aluminium is 100% recyclable UK Started aluminium recycling back in the year 1977. Every year 3% more waste is generated than previous year. 100 million+ tonnes of waste is generated every year in the UK. 25M tonnes aluminium produced annually and 50K used to make cans.

  3. UK consumers use around 12 billion cans each year. If all cans were recycled in the UK we would need 14 million dustbins. 90% of the cans sold in the UK are made of aluminium. 60% of the cans have been recycled.

  4. Aluminium comes from the family of being 100% recyclable. Any item big or small made from aluminium can be recycled repeatedly each time. Statistics say on an average every minute about 100K aluminium cans are recycled.
