Your CPAP machine is one of the most hardworking devices that continuously pumps pressurized air into your airway to prevent sleep apnea while you sleep. Since most CPAP machines are connected to a humidifier, they can be a perfect breeding ground for germs and molds. Cleaning your CPAP supplies and machine not only allows you to keep your machine at its best performance, but also keeps your CPAP supplies germ-free, dust-free, and allergen-free. The pathogens that can grow in a CPAP tubing, mask, or machine can cause several illnesses including respiratory disorders. Moreover, the oil and dead skin build-up on your CPAP supplies including mask, cushion, and frame can cause irritations or skin disorders that are hard to get rid of. Lastly, cleaning your CPAP supplies also prolongs the life of your CPAP machine.
