Trophy DesignCompanyinIndia-studioabd The tradition of creating and awarding trophies dates back thousands of years. Most schools and colleges have a trophy cabinet filled with numerous old and new designs. These awards honor excellence in various fields and help to create a sense of community among people with similar interests. For example, a community of gardeners might award medals for the best tomato, eggplant or cabbage plants. Designing a new trophy can be challenging; designers must take into account a wide variety of factors as they work. A good example is the India-based Trophy Design Company. A government-mandated competition encouraged the formation of Trophy Design Company (TDC). In 1964, the Indian government decided to allow private companies to manufacture awards for its competitions. TDC was one of the companies that took advantage of this opportunity and now manufactures awards for schools, colleges and competitions in India. Many of their awards feature Indian culture and tradition, such as wheeled toys that represent the Thiruvathirai festival or an elephant holding up a cup of water during the marriage ceremony. Some awards represent the seven seas and their sea tiles depict aquatic animals such as fish, lobsters and seahorses. The company also creates awards for other countries such as the United States, England and Australia. They win awards for their work and make their name known worldwide. Designs can take months or even years to complete, but they're extremely important to people who participate in competitions. Every design shows creativity, originality and an individual's love for something or someone. In fact, designers use various words to describe their work- like expressions of talent or expressions of affection. Designers work hard to create an award that shows admiration for someone's work; for example, someone who creates a workable design for a handicapped person would receive high praise on a trophy. Some awards show off someone's creativity by using elements from popular culture or nature. A designer might take elements from Star Wars or Alice in Wonderland to create a unique award celebrating both popular culture and design aesthetics. For example, an award honoring Dr. Lewis Carroll's 150th birthday might include items from his personal collection such as toys from Alice in Wonderland and chess pieces from chess pieces inspired by his own poem 'Jabberwocky.'
A client wanted a particular design company's help in creating a new trophy for a competition. The company had previously created trophies for competitions in India, so they were used to creating new designs for other countries as well. They used photos from the client's competitions as references when creating the new trophy. This way, they could meet the client's expectations while creating something unique for their own country's competitions. Creating new trophies inspired by different cultures helps countries bond through competition while showing respect for each citizen's creativity through designating them with awards. Design is an integral part of life- whether someone creates an award to honor exceptional work or adds flair to his wardrobe by wearing one himself. People worldwide recognize and appreciate good design when they see it exhibited through trophies awarded at schools, colleges and government meetings. Although designing a new trophy is challenging, having one in your collection does wonders for promoting camaraderie among people with similar interests.
