1. Spherule Foundation Introduction Good morning everyone, Welcome to our Diwali celebration! We are delighted to have you here as we introduce you to the Spherule Foundation and share the incredible journey we have embarked on since our inception. Just a few days ago, on October 24th, we celebrated Founders Day, a day dedicated to honouring the vision, dedication, and relentless efforts of our founder, Dr. Geeta Bora, who laid the foundation of Spherule Foundation in 2017. Guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, our journey began with a vision of a world where every individual, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive. This vision is encapsulated in our mission to create a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future through innovative programs, grassroots initiatives, and collaborative efforts. We uphold core values of collective action, collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning. These values guide us in all our endeavours and ensure that we remain true to our mission. Since our inception, Spherule Foundation has made significant strides across 15 states and 2 aspirational districts, impacting countless lives through our 17 thematic areas. Our efforts have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Global Inspiring Leader Award from the UK Parliament and the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest awareness session on adolescent health. We are proud to be empaneled with prestigious institutions such as TISS and certified by SGS and GuideStar India. Our partnerships with organizations like NSDC enable us to run skill development programs that empower individuals and communities. Key Projects: Education: Building STEM labs, supplying stationery, and enhancing infrastructure in government schools. Health: Prioritizing menstrual health, delivering medical services to remote areas, enhancing medical infrastructure, and conducting health camps. Women Empowerment: Skilling programs and promoting entrepreneurship. Environment Conservation: Conducting tree plantation drives, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting green energy by installing solar energy infrastructure in schools, hospitals, and other institutions. Digital Literacy: Providing digital literacy programs to bridge the digital divide. Reviving Livelihoods: Initiatives aimed at reviving and sustaining livelihoods through various support programs. Our POSHhelp initiative strives to build an equal, just, and sustainable society. We believe that everyone deserves the right to life and security, a sustainable livelihood, a voice, an identity, and access to essential social services. With the right actions and political will, we are confident that this vision can become a reality.
