  2. How Malaise can be cured? Malaise is a general feeling of being unwell, either emotionally, physically, or both. Malaise can also mean a feeling of overall weakness, discomfort, or feeling like you have an illness. Malaise may accompany other symptoms that vary depending on the underlying condition.

  3. Is malaise a symptom of COVID-19? Symptoms related to malaise from a physical condition may differ from symptoms linked to malaise from a psychological or emotional condition. If you had COVID-19 and experience symptoms including PEM, talk with your doctor about the possibility of long COVID and available treatment options.

  4. Is malaise a symptom of COVID-19? Doctors identified PEM as a symptom of long COVID. People with PEM experience symptoms, such as fatigue or headache, that get worse after a period of physical or mental exertion. Long COVID occurs when someone experiences new or ongoing symptoms after recovery from an initial COVID-19 infection. These symptoms can begin 4 weeks after recovery and last months or even years.

  5. Are you experiencing Malaise? If you are experiencing malaise, chances are you are feeling blue or looking green. Malaise is a slump; you're not feeling your best — either mentally or physically. Patients need to determine their individual limits for mental and physical activity, and plan activity and rest to stay within these limits. When patients experience improvement, activities can be cautiously increased with monitoring for any negative effects.
