  1. What questions to ask an influencer? I'm sure you've seen a beauty influencer on your Instagram feed before. Maybe it was a blogger, maybe it was someone from YouTube, or maybe it was just some random person with an incredible amount of followers. I know what you're thinking: "Why should I care about these people who get paid for free products?" Well, the truth is that they can help market your brand to their audience if they like what you have to offer. They'll share your products with their loyal followers and earn some extra money while doing so! The best part? There are no hard feelings when brands collaborate with influencers—it's all in good fun! Plus, many influencers are happy just to receive free items from brands (it doesn't hurt that they get reimbursed). So now that we've got that out of the way... The questions below will help you determine whether or not an influencer has the right audience for your brand:

  2. What is your target audience? What do they value most in life? How can you help them reach their goals? What are your favorite beauty brands? You can ask them about their favorite brands, and if they have any recommendations for products or services. This is an opportunity for you to find out what brands are most beneficial for your business. If the influencer recommends specific products or services that don't align with your brand identity, it may be best to look elsewhere for an influencer match. How many followers do you have? This is the most basic question to ask an influencer, but it's also one of the most important. Let's say you want to reach out to an influencer with 100k followers and another with 1M followers. The number of followers an influencer has is a good indicator of their reach: The higher their reach, the more people are likely to see what they're posting (and potentially buy whatever product/service it promotes). That said, there are other factors at play here as well--like engagement rate (i.e., how many likes and comments) versus follower count--that can affect whether or not someone actually sees your post in their feed or not. Do you get paid for collaborating with brands? When you're working with an influencer, it's important to know how they get paid. Influencers are often compensated by brands for promoting products or services. Some influencers get paid per post and some are paid a flat fee for collaborating with a brand; others may be able to negotiate their own rates based on factors like their audience size and engagement level.

  3. The payment structure varies widely from person-to-person, but generally speaking there are two main types of compensation: Paid per post (PPP) - This type of compensation means that you pay your influencer every time they publish something related to your product/service. For example, if you're paying someone $300 USD per Instagram post featuring one of your products then they would receive this amount each time they publish an image containing said item(s). PPP models tend not only attract more experienced creators who already have large followings but also ensure better quality content since these individuals will want their posts' reach numbers high enough so that their efforts were worthwhile and profitable! If a beauty influencer has the right audience, they can help market your products. As an influencer, you can help market your products. You may have heard the term "influencer marketing" before, but what does that mean exactly? Influencers are people who have a large following on social media or other platforms (like YouTube). If a beauty influencer has the right audience, they can help market your products-- and even get your brand in front of their followers for free! In return for promoting products and services on their channels, influencers typically receive money or free products from brands who want to reach their audiences with ads. When choosing which influencers to work with, consider these questions: Do they have an appropriate number of followers? Make sure that there's enough overlap between their followers and yours so that they'll actually see any posts featuring your product--you don't want it getting lost among thousands of others in their feed!
