New to BCIT? • Step 1 Specialize with a diploma, including: • Step 2Apply for Degree completion • Upon completion of the second year, you are “Job Ready,” having earned a diploma that is highly valued by industry. Now you are ready to: • Finish your degree in 8 to 12 months, OR • Start your career and finish your degree in Part-Time studies.

Alternatives for BCIT Diploma Students • SFU, UBC: • Give 30 block credits towards 120 credit Degree • Requires 3 additional years to complete Degree • Regional Universities: • Give course by course credit • Requires 2 more years to complete Degree • Royal Roads (Victoria), Lakehead (Ontario) • Block Transfer of Diploma • One additional year (12 months) = Degree • TRU/OLA (Kamloops or On-Line) • 72 block credits • Diploma + 48 credits = 120 credit Degree

BBA Program Length Full Time: If you already have most of your General Arts & Science Electives, then Program length is 2 terms (8 Months) If you still need to take most of your electives, then Program length is 3 terms (12 months) Part Time: You can start work and complete your degree at your own pace in Part-time Studies. Average time is between 2 and 5 years

  10. BBA Course Offerings • All BBA Business courses are offered: • Full-time September - April • Part-time (night school) • 3 terms/year • Starts: January, May & September • Standard course format is 3 to 3.5 hours per week, for 15 weeks.
